Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today presented a visionary and ambitious budget aimed at realizing the dream of a 'Viksit Bharat'. With a strong focus on the nation's development over the next five years, the budget prioritizes six key sectors: agriculture, industry, mining, economy, energy, and infrastructure. It also brings significant benefits to the middle class, salaried individuals, and entrepreneurs, fostering investment and employment opportunities. Dakshina Kannada MP, Captain Brijesh Chowta, welcomed the budget, emphasizing its role in empowering citizens and accelerating India's economic progress.

The budget introduces crucial measures for gig workers' health protection, district-level cancer care centers, affordable cancer drugs, and social-economic upliftment of urban laborers. It also supports street vendors through UPI-linked credit cards, offers loans for women and SC/ST entrepreneurs, and removes customs duties on essential medicines, including treatments for rare diseases. Lauding the Viksit Bharat Budget, Captain Brijesh Chowta expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership, stating that the budget reflects India's determination to secure a top global position by 2047.
