Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts have once again topped Karnataka’s II Pre-University (PU) results, maintaining their dominance in academic performance. Udupi secured the highest pass percentage at 93.90%, followed closely by Dakshina Kannada with 93.57%. The results were officially announced during a press conference held at 12:30 PM at the PU Board’s office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru. The Education Minister, while addressing the media, commended the consistent efforts of students, educators, and institutions in these districts that continue to set benchmarks in the state.

This year’s examinations were conducted across Karnataka from March 1 to March 20, 2025. Despite the success in coastal Karnataka, a stark contrast was observed in Yadgir, which recorded the lowest pass percentage of just 48.45%. The disparity highlights the need for targeted interventions in underperforming districts. As celebrations begin in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada, education authorities have called for a focused approach to bridge the educational gap and uplift academic outcomes statewide.
