Sushmitha Shetty Clears SI Exam, Fulfills Childhood Dream

Maani village’s Baddigudde resident Sushmitha Shetty has achieved her long-cherished dream of serving in the police department. The youngest of three children of farmer Radhakrishna and Shanta Shetty, Sushmitha always aspired to don the khaki uniform. With unwavering dedication, she appeared for the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment exam and emerged successful. Having completed her primary and high school education at Sri Rama Vidyakendra, Kalladka, she pursued a B.Com degree at Vivekananda College, Puttur. She further obtained an MSW from Roshni Nilaya College, Mangaluru, before enrolling in a B.Ed. program in Bangarapet, Kolar, when she took the SI exam.

Her remarkable achievement has made her village proud, and the locals have extended their heartfelt congratulations. Sushmitha’s journey of perseverance and academic excellence serves as an inspiration for many young aspirants aiming for a career in law enforcement.
