Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar will be honored with the prestigious C K Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award at the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) annual gala in Mumbai on February 1. The 51-year-old, widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in cricket history, will join an elite list of recipients, following last year's honorees, former India coach Ravi Shastri and wicketkeeping stalwart Farokh Engineer. Tendulkar's illustrious career includes 664 international matches, making him the highest run-scorer in both Test and One-Day International (ODI) cricket.

A veteran of 200 Test matches and 463 ODIs, Tendulkar amassed a staggering 15,921 Test runs and 18,426 runs in ODIs, records that remain untouched. Despite his dominance in the longest formats, he played just one T20 International in his career. The C K Nayudu Award, one of Indian cricket’s highest honors, recognizes Tendulkar’s unparalleled contributions to the sport. His achievements continue to inspire generations of cricketers, and the upcoming felicitation is yet another tribute to his remarkable legacy in Indian and world cricket.
