Right-Wing Activists Halt Alleged Illegal Beef Transport Near Kadri Temple

Mangaluru: In a swift action, right-wing activists intercepted an alleged illegal beef transport near the entrance of the historic Kadri Temple. Acting on a tip-off, the activists stopped a tempo suspected of carrying beef. Upon inspection, they discovered over 100 kg of beef inside the vehicle and immediately alerted the Kadri police. The activists also detained the individuals transporting the meat and handed them over to law enforcement authorities.

Police officials promptly arrived at the scene, conducted a detailed inspection, and seized both the beef and the vehicle. A case has been registered at the Kadri police station, and further investigation is underway to determine the source and legality of the meat.
