New Delhi: Member of Parliament and former Army officer Captain Brijesh Chowta experienced a moment of immense pride and gratitude as he, along with his parents, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office. Reflecting on his journey from an ordinary middle-class background to serving in the armed forces and now standing beside one of the world’s most revered leaders, Captain Chowta called the moment “priceless.” He credited PM Modi for inspiring and realizing his dreams, highlighting the Prime Minister’s role in shaping his political journey.

During the meeting, Captain Chowta presented a unique cultural token from Tulunadu—the Pili tha Mande, a symbolic representation of the Pili Nalike dance performed during Navratri. He recalled how PM Modi had previously mentioned this tradition in his Mann Ki Baat address, making the exchange even more meaningful. Expressing deep humility and gratitude, Captain Chowta described the encounter as a testament to Modi’s far-reaching impact on grassroots leaders and the rich heritage of India’s diverse cultures.
