Mangaluru to Get New IT-BT Software Park Near Blue Berry Hills?

Mangaluru North MLA Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty’s request for the establishment of a Keonics Software Park near Blue Berry Hills, within the Mangaluru City Corporation limits, has gained momentum. A site inspection was conducted under his leadership, with Keonics Chairman Sharath Bacchegowda and other officials present.

During the visit, discussions were also held regarding road widening in the area, aiming to improve infrastructure to support the upcoming project.

Following the inspection, a crucial meeting was held at the Dakshina Kannada District Collector's office to deliberate on the construction of the new IT-BT Park. The meeting was attended by Keonics Chairman Sharath Bacchegowda, MLA Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty, Dakshina Kannada MP Captain Brijesh Chowta, Manjunath Bhandari, District Collector Mullai Mugilan, Mangaluru City Corporation Commissioner, Keonics Managing Director, CREDAI Association members, and officials from various departments. The long-awaited initiative is expected to create significant employment opportunities for local IT and BT graduates, strengthening Mangaluru’s position as an emerging tech hub.
